About Me

I was born in a remote village in Mayurbhanj district, Odisha. Like many children from small villages, I started my education in the local village school. My early years were filled with the challenges of rural life, but I was always eager to learn and grow. After completing my schooling, I moved to Baripada to study Intermediate in Science (ISC).

Later, I shifted to Bhubaneswar to pursue engineering at the College of Engineering & Technology , which is now known as OUTR (Odisha University of Technology and Research). This was a big step for me, moving from a small village to a city, and I worked hard to complete my degree.

However, after completing my engineering, I struggled to find a job. For about two to two and a half years, I remained unemployed. It was a tough phase in my life, but I stayed patient and kept trying. Eventually, I got a temporary job in the Odisha State Government. While it was not a permanent position, it gave me some experience and confidence.

Later, I got an opportunity to work with  South Eastern Railways, which I accepted and worked there for three years . But around the same time, I also received a job offer from Kolkata Port Trust in Haldia. I worked there briefly but continued looking for better opportunities. Soon after, I got selected for a position at Indian Oil Corporation, which proved to be the turning point in my career. I joined Indian Oil for better prospects and continued there for the next 30 years.

Throughout my 30-year journey with Indian Oil, I remained committed to learning and performing to the best of my abilities. From a small village in Mayurbhanj to serving across several states and handling complex operations, it has been a journey of hard work, dedication, and continuous growth.

Looking back, I feel proud of the path I have taken and the experiences I have gathered. I am grateful for the opportunities I received and the people I worked with along the way. Now in retirement, I continue to cherish those memories and share my story with others,
